The public is invited to participate in public comment utilizing the following guidelines. The public is instructed to provide public comment on any agenda item via email to cmunch@canonsburgboro.com or at (724) 745-1800. The agenda will be available on the Borough’s website.

Now Hiring Crossing Guards

The Borough of Canonsburg is looking to fill two crossing guard positions:


Three hours a day (1.5 hours in the morning, 1.5 hours in the afternoon), work days scheduled based on Canon McMillan school district calendar.
Must obtain all of the proper clearances to work with children.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
Job Type: Part-time, seasonal
Pay: $12.50 per hour

One crossing guard needed at the corner of Greenside Avenue/East College Street and one needed at South Central Avenue.

New Real Estate Tax Deadline

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Canonsburg Borough Council has voted at their March 30, 2020 virtual meeting to extend the deadline for real estate tax payments. The new due date is May 6, 2020 for discount, August 31st, 2020 at face.
