Earned Income Tax:
New residents please don't forget to register for the 1% Earned Income Tax. This tax is 1% of your gross earnings and/or net profits. By registering as soon as possible, you will avoid substantial penalties and interest which accumulate monthly. If you need to register, you may call Robert A. Real Estate Taxes:
There are three real estate tax notices you should receive every year:

1. The first is from Washington County and is generally mailed in January with a discount date of March 31st (for tax notices or more information call 724-228-6850
2. The second is the Canonsburg Borough Real Estate tax, which is mailed at the end of January and is due at discount by March 31st.
3. The third is the Canon-McMillan School District tax, which is mailed the end of July and due at discount September 30th

Please Note: For your convenience, you may pay your Washington County tax notice at the office the Tax Collector at 15 North Central Avenue, Canonsburg.
