PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists of intermittent lane restrictions on both Route 1009 (Morganza Road) and Route 1025 (Weavertown Road) so that the intersection can be widened and signal upgrades can occur. The lane restrictions will be in place as needed starting Monday, March 20 through mid-September.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 770 traffic cameras.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.

Motorist are reminded to drive with caution and be alert when entering a work zone.
